Girl Scouts:

Girl Scouts Circle T Council, Inc.

My name is Breanna. I am 8-years-old and in the third grade. I joined Girl Scouts because they meet after school and my Mom could pick me up after work. I sold cookies, went on a troop campout, and was a Patrol leader for my group helping to plan our “Pinning Ceremony” for all our families. I like doing science experiments, making new friends, and designing cards for the nursing home.

People served in Hood County in 2004: 255

Circle T is one of 318 councils chartered by Girl Scouts of the USA to develop, manage and maintain Girl Scouting in a specified jurisdiction. Circle T serves Hood, Johnson, Somervell, and Tarrant Counties.

The mission or purpose of Girl Scouting is to inspire girls with the highest ideals of character, conduct, patriotism, and service that they may become happy and resourceful citizens. Girl Scouting accomplishes this purpose by providing girls opportunities to develop their potential and have fun with their peers in a supportive, all girl setting with trained volunteer adult leadership.
