The Hood County Committee on Aging:

The Hood County Committee on Aging

Jack is one of our Meals on Wheels clients. He is 75-years old and lives alone. He is also dealing with a terminal illness. Our volunteers check on him daily and give him support. Our healthy meals help to insure his nutritional stability. He really looks forward to the visits of the cheerful, concerned caring volunteer.

Meals served in Hood County in 2004: 62,090

This organization's mission is to meet the needs of the 60+ population of Hood County. This is accomplished through an extensive on-site meals program, meal delivery program (Meals on Wheels), transportation, homemaker housekeeping services, and daily activities designed to keep seniors active and involved).
