Hood County 4-H:

Although Jimmy does not live on a farm, he learns many useful lessons by participating in 4-H. He learns to take care of himself at Farm Safety Day Camp. He is able to experience farm life, bicycle safety as well as food and fiber production in the hands-on learning activities.

This program develops youth and adults, utilizing research-based information on creative, diverse, hands-on educational environments. 4H maximizes each individual's potential through unique partnerships of youth, volunteers, university faculty, and community supporters, resulting in exciting and innovative experiences which produce capable citizens to lead us into tomorrow.

Programs Presented in Hood County in 2004: 131
